What is Youth Leadership?
Dictionary Definition: - Leadership. noun. The action of leading a group of people or an organization; the state or position of being a leader.

Youth leadership is a theory of youth development in which young people gain skills and knowledge necessary to build leadership skills, public speaking, community organizing activities, etc. Youth development is a process that prepares young people to navigate adolescence and realize their potential as an adult. An important aspect of youth development is leadership, confidence, public speaking and self-motivation.

Youth leadership programs are important as it prepares the next generation of leadership in the workforce and in communities. Youth leadership programs provide youth with the skills necessary to guide others, influence opinions and become as role models for their peers and younger generations
